About the event
Step inside the working space behind REIGNITED for an intimate open studio night with artist Ken Oswald / __yak.
This is not a polished gallery walkthrough. It is a chance to see the work while it is still breathing — layered canvases, torn text, red and black acrylic, stencil figures, raw materials, unfinished edges, and the visual language that turns history, hip hop, pressure, memory, and resistance into something physical.
Guests will get a behind-the-scenes look at current works in progress, upcoming pieces from the REIGNITED series, and the process behind the mixed-media practice: collage, paint, texture, archival fragments, graffiti influence, and controlled chaos. Come through, ask questions, see the work up close, and experience the studio before the finished pieces leave the room.
This night is for collectors, supporters, artists, friends, collaborators, and anyone who wants to understand the work before the wall label tries to explain it.
